Hey guys...

I'm seeing a lot of "Watch this YouTube video" posting cropping, with just a link and nothing else.

I don't mind folks doing linkage to funny videos, with a caveat or two. Obviously, some of those videos may not be work-safe, but more to the point, why not give a quick summary of what that link is vs. wasting a person's bandwidth to go chase them?

IOW, let us know what it is, then let us decide whether it's worth looking at.  Otherwise, it's sort of a drive-by posting, not particularly courteous in the general scheme of things.

Sincerely,

Gewehr98 (aka, the Ms. Manners of APS)

I believe this is a duplicate thread, also.  And I thought that clip was part of a TV program, rather than an ad.

Sorry if it's a Duplicate.

And I don't watch TV so I wouldn't know if it was a TV Show.

Yeah, no TV here, either.  I think it's from a show called Boston Legal.  Shatner is a cast member.

This one is even better... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLo801Z_9gg&feature=related

Earlier in the year he's getting vetted as a potential Republican candidate.

(Doing a "first thing in your head political Rorschach test ")

Interviewer: "Hillary Clinton?"
Shatner/Denny Crane: Raises his leg, farts, and says: "Pull my finger".

Then they get to the need for NRA backing, and he displays his qualifications.

I promise not to duck.
