I'm dumb...

I need to change my email address.  The old one is no longer active and won't reach me.

I hate to admit it but I've just spent 15 minutes trying, every which way, to figure out how to change this -- without success.

I read HELP but the instructions didn't work for me.  It instructed me to click on profile and then my name. 

Clicking on my name couldn't be done.



So now the secret is out!  I'm a dummy.  Can someone PLEASE instruct me on how to change my email address?

Do you mean the email address you use for this forum?

Can't.  Database is locked down.  You'll need to contact one of the admins to get it changed.

Don't worry, I'm dumb too.  My reasoning is different, but the outcome remains the same.  I guess I'm living proof that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to be a physicist.

Regolith, I guess I'm even dumber.  I can't find how to contact an admin, either.

I hate to bother him, but all that occurs to me is to PM Oleg.

Just click the report button a few dozen times, and one will pop up.
Or start a thread about abortion.
Or just start a thread titled "MIKE IRWIN IS A SILLY HEAD."
That'll get you in contact quick.

The admins have gold stars under their username. A PM to Oleg, Ex-Ma Hole, Mike Irwin, Monkeyleg, mtnbkr, or Ben should get you squared away
