France is the biggest consumer of antibiotics in Europe.

Today, it's called Hansen's disease. Though it's conjures up terrible thoughts, it's actually a very treatable, chronic disease.

It's caused by a bacterial infection of both the Mycobacterium leprae and Mycobacterium lepromatosis.

Yes, the terrible healthcare in Europe so clearly evidenced in that very heavyweight piece about... err antibiotics for colds (stupid, agreed) and 'heavy legs'.
