Anyone visit Woot regularly?

They seem to have suffered a marked decline in the overall quality of the items they're offering up lately. In the past they've had a wide variety of pretty good items, both new and refurbished.

Now it's like they're the new outlet center for Tuesday Morning or Dollar Store.

I hit it occasionally, but rarely see anything that makes me want to whip out my credit card.

OTOH, I hit the Dell Outlet Store the other day and they had a refurb Dimension 530, 2.8GHz Dual Core, 3GB RAM, 500MB hard drive, dual CD/RWs, a 256MB Radeon vid card, and XP Pro loaded with a Vista Business license included.  All for $409.  I though, "Hey, that's a pretty smokin' deal!"  I ran to the break room and got a coffee refill, intending to order the thing when I got back to my desk.  No dice.  It was already gone.

They have always had a HUGE range of stuff, but I've bought some very good items from them for pretty inexpensive prices.

My phone system at home, and the phone system I bought my Mother, for example. Unidens, 5.8 Mhz, and less than half what they go for at most other stores.

I'm thre daily, I've gotten a ton of good stuff from them.  But golf bags? Bug zappers?  A strange assortment lately.

Yeah, a friend pointed it out to me a month or two ago when they had 8 GB SD cards for sale.  I bought some computer controlled nerf missile launchers for my nephew.  :) 

I agree that the products are pretty poor the last few weeks.

After the first day of selling a shirt, you can buy a shirt for $15 until the demand falls off.
