County comm group buy
« on: February 20, 2009, 07:11:16 PM »
Over on http://edcforums.com they are doing a group buy from http://www.countycomm.com. For those unfamiliar with County Comm, they sell a variety of lights, watches, and random cool little things like mini-pry bars. This is the thread. Since the worst thing about County Comm is their exorbitant shipping charges (well, and their atrocious website) this is a great deal.

I highly recommend business with County Comm. Been doing business with them for 8 years via the Candle Power Forums.

Ditto.  I have bought a lot of cool stuff from County Comm over the years.  I love my titanium money clip!

D'oh! I forgot about that, I think they require like 15 posts before you can use their For Sale place. :(

I've ordered a couple hundred bucks worth of kit from County Comm.  It started off small.  A&P keyrights, peanut lighters, etc.  People would see it and say ORDER ME ONE RIGHT NOW, et al.  So I place an order roughly every other paycheck.  The $5 original peanut lighter and the $1 keychain LED lights are an insane bargain.

Shipping price isn't horrible for me.  $10 usually, and I live across the country.   They do need to overhaul their web site.  Gods, I haven't seen anything as bad since the mid 90's.

That's funny, I got my order a week or two ago.  It is way too easy to spend money there.
