Lou Dobbs is a real reporter.

I watched Lou Dobbs on CNN last night.  He is the first journalist that I've seen in a long time that is actually a journalist and not a puppet or paper-reader.

He tore up Obama's pandering to the Hispanic community, the Mexican drug war and our border, and the 2nd amendment aspects (and 1st amend, too) of college handgun carry.

Dobbs is just as biased as any of them, he's just biased more towards the middle with some constitutioalist leanings.  And he's not in bed with the Obama camp.  He hasn't given the new administration any honeymoon.

I have to admit I like his show. I think many people would generally agree with a lot of his views. I think he angers some who prefer more government. I think he may fall into the socially liberal/financially conservative area.

I'm kind of surprised that CNN has not told him to turn it down.

Tonight, he said he would like to see the UN out of the US and for the US to stop funding the UN.     I'll have to watch his show more often.
