jamis this ones for you

Today, my parents, who are out of town but driving back tomorrow, called to see how I was doing. While they were gone I threw a party, but when asked I told them no, to which my dad responded " Well I'm currently looking at pictures on facebook of our kitchen with beer and a bong on the table." FML

At which point I would be telling my child they would never be trusted again.

Even trips to the library would be supervised.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

Most people accept that they will occassionally be lied to, but they get really upset when you insult their intelligence by doing it poorly.

also good if you front well    my lil sister was a straight a plus student captain of the cheerleaders  valedictorian  yale lawyer  all girl catholic school never got in any trouble.. my parents told her she could have a graduation party for all her friends.   i took the parents out to dinner at graves mountain lodge so we were gone 6 hours  as we entered the neighbor hood we were stopped at a police road block  while waiting to get cleared through i heard their address on the police radio. police helicopter overhead. as we finally were able to get close to the house we see my sis drunk talking to a group of unhappy pg county cops. the turned to the crowd and screamed "everyone has to get in the house!"   the look on my poor fathers face was priceless.  this was his "good kid"  he sat there in shock as over a hundred drunk kids tried to cram into his house.  i guess it was good i was there  i went in and shut it down for him   the damage wasn't too bad  about 2 days of 4 kids working cleaned and fixed most of it

Maybe we should head over and hook up to Sugar Mamma and take her out for a cruise.  We can send him pics of some of us APS'ers guzzling Jeremiah Weed and puking on the bow.

We don't need to actually take her out for a cruise, we could get liquored up, puke, and post the pics to FB for him to see. :D

I seem to remember a friend many years ago that had a "few people over" when the parents were away.  He was sabotaged by his friends who did their best to hide bottles and stuff all over the house.  He got caught when the mother found the packaging for a 12 pack of Budweiser in the oven, apparently the one place he forgot to check.

I never had the gumption to sneak in a party when my folks were gone. The beatings I got for inconsequential matters were so over-the-top I didn't want to risk the one I'd've got for throwing a shindig.

.............

Best "busted for having a party story" I've heard from someone I know: A friend of the family had a maximum blowout at home when she was about sixteen and her parents went to Florida for the weekend. Intending to party the whole time they were gone she started the party on Friday night, a few hours after her folks left. About midnight she was out on a lounge chair by the pool making out with her boyfriend when one of her friends called out, "Hey, Barbara! Your Mom's here!" She responded, "Ha ha very funny. My Mom's in Florida."

From the just inside the patio door her Mom quietly said, "No I'm not."
