The gaffe that wasn't? Or was it?
« on: March 23, 2009, 10:59:19 PM »
I'm sure you've all heard by now that Obama's tasteful gift of DVDs to the British PM turned out to be Region 1.  I.e., they don't work on British machinery.

Now, it seems that Obama has given Sarkozy the finger with a letter to Jacques Chirac.  Or at least Sarkozy is said to be displeased.  But what exactly this means seems unclear.  Some say Obama's info on French politics was out of date.  Some say it was just a reply to a letter from Chirac.

Time to send a Reset Overcharge Button to both sides of the Channel?
