Right now, around 35 cents/round for my precision .308 rounds, using my stash of Lapua brass (which is something I've amortized over the last 10 or so years), IMR-4895, Federal 210 Match primers, and either Sierra 155gr Palma, Sierra 168gr MatchKing, or Lapua 170gr D46 bullets.
Granted, most if not all of the components in my reloading setup were stockpiled years before the current silliness. (Remember the Y2K scare?) I plugged in current Midway/Grafs/Powder Valley prices just for giggles, and came out to 40 cents/round.
I couldn't afford to shoot my .45-70 Sharps if I didn't cast my own 535gr bullets and have a local source of Goex Cartridge BP at $11.00/pound, truthfully. Take a gander at retail ammo prices for .45-70 loads if you don't believe me! $30.00/20 rounds for the more common 405 grain fodder...

As it is, I almost cringed when I ran through 50 rounds of my match .308 loads for a practice session prior to this coming weekend's Cash Shoot at my local club. The 25/50/100/200 yard course of fire was an absolute gold-plated bitch, and I get to send another 20 rounds downrange with no sighters allowed this Saturday.
