 =D  I am really, really curious to know how you got that impression.   =D  On the other hand, you may want to skip on the explanation and just move on.  You haven't gotten under my skin any, but looks like others have not received your comments kindly.

Besides, don't say bad things about my wife.  That's Balog's job.   =D

Oh fisty and his wife. I do apologize for that whole thing, or at least my part in it.

I think it offers a valuable lesson in APS life though; don't bring something up if you are sensitive about the subject. We have lots of fine qualities here but sensitivity ain't a one of them.

Rev: what specific weapon are you looking for? I always that the Finn AK pattern was pretty nice.

I don't see why anyone would speak badly about fistful's wife....as far as I'm concerned, she's the second-most patient, long-suffering, kind toward the weird and spirit-trying, and charitable woman I know of.....


...and I only say second-most because the first-most ended up marrying me....  =D

Yep, that's it.  The Sako M92S, which is the civvie version of the Finnish service rifle, Rk 95.  Best assault rifle on the planet.  Best service rifle in current usage by any military.

No offense taken to anything anyone here says.  I'm basically immune to message board drama and very little gets to me.  I don't know any of you very well so I'm not quite sure what the comments are meaning.  In any case, I truly get what many of you are saying where safety should be a priority.  To give a little more info, the guy has been in therapy and his wife is aware of the problem.  He has done an about face and quit stalking me for over 2 years now.  I do intend to get my butt to a course and purchase a gun once I figure out which one is best for me, but I really REALLY must wait until after Labor Day because I have about 25 dogs I'm responsible for daily and can't leave them to go take a course.   =)

The ex had many guns, rifles included, but I don't think any of them were registered .  Since I'm upstate NY, that would be why.  So that's good I shouldn't need permits but will find out for sure.  I may need to get a carry permit, though.  I know when he was transporting them he didn't have a permit.

You'll need a permit to get handguns, but everything else is not registered.

Handgun permits are generally also concealed carry permits, depending on your county.  Mind sharing your county or residence?
