I'm considering gettting a PS/3. It's one of the highest rated Blu-Ray players on the market, is BD 2.0 compatible, and (coming soon) is supposed to access movies-on-demand. The gaming portion is just a bonus. I haven't played anything on a home console since Missile Command on an Atari 2600 so it's so much gibberish to me.
I cain't say I nose nuthing bout thees here pee ess threes, so's I asks me some kweschuns. Mainly has to do with the difference between the 160Gb and recently announced 250Gb versions. What does the extra drive space actually do in terms of added performance, functionality, etc? Is it worth the extra fifty bucks, or is it a sales gimmick with no real benefit other than in certain limited situations?
What say ye oh High Geeks of game playerdom?
