Went to the range we have on the camp with some of our PSD guys this morning.  I got to put a few belts through the SAW and a few more through the 240B.  I got out of the Army before the 240 started making its way down to artillery units so I never had the opportunity to shoot one but damn, that thing is sweeeet.  The SAW is the SAW.  It's OK but I never really liked it.  Still fun as hell to shoot, though.  The range isn't great but I'm gonna see if I can't get on every couple of weeks or so.

Last time I qualified with the 240 it was dark and foggy and we were shooting at Cyalume sticks taped to the pop-up targets.

I agree, unfortunately that's a no-no. 

I've found that picture taking in the IZ can be risky.  Especially with the Iraqis around.  Apparently, they don't like cameras.
