Ever wanted to race chariots like the Romans?

Do you have horses?  No?  Not to worry!

Much win detected!

They need whips and a gladius or two though.
I promise not to duck.

Two in my house, actually.  Mine's better than my wife's though.  >:D

Gotta say, I broke into a big grin when the webpage came up.  Can't watch the videos at work, though. =(

I haven't seen the videos, either, but the idea looks good. Anything involving gas engines, high horsepower, and the potential for serious farking injury gets my vote of approval.  =D

You know, I'll bet something like a Wii controller could be incorporated into the handle of a whip, and with a few electronic gizmos would work as a throttle . . .

Yeah, you need a spot for the archer, or the guy with the AK.

Nah, a guy with a paintball gun to distract the other charioteers.  Maye some balloons filled with paint as "grenades" too.

the "archer" is a well needed counterbalance

I was thinking of old battle chariots, not just racing.  I guess they might not make one lap if they used AK's.  :D

Maybe merge some ideas from different centuries on how to injure armed passengers. Like add a sidecar with an MG-42. =D

I LIKE the idea of doing this two-up, with a "paintball archer". Would add whole new dimensions to the race... >:D
