I liked some of his movies
Politicians and bureaucrats are considered productive if they swarm the populace like a plague of locust, devouring all substance in their path and leaving a swath of destruction like a firestorm. The technical term is "bipartisanship".

Now I've gotta get DVD's of Blue Velvet and True Grit....gonna miss this guy....  :'(

I just had an image of Liberace in his most flamboyant getup playing piano in one of the grittier Clint Eastwood westerns' bar.

I must have watched Easy Rider at least fifteen times, and it's not normal for me to do that with any movie.  RIP, Dennis Hopper.
