as seen on drudge, we are going to have a massive solar storm.
The TV is on the blink...I'm praying the satt link for the net doesn't go blooey.

one second after? Carrington effect?

I hope just cool aurora borealis ... at least for now, when I've stocked up on food and ammo ( & my hovercraft/eeels ) then I hope the apocalypse happens

I needed a mod to change my signature because the concept of "family friendly" eludes me.
Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?

Cable and SAT acting wacky in Paso Robles CA.  Or it could be the hotel having reception problems..Who knows?  Im just worried that I am in CA, and we are having a massive solar storm.

lots of planes high up in the sky ( my 20 is northern NV near Susanville CA )
heard some jets rushing around too, unusual  for this area.
 There was supposed to be aurora borealis, but not yet & its really clear out here so I would notice.

It's really clear here too. About sixty air miles straight south of Kansas City. The milky way and stars are incredible.

I see some flashes from the north. But I think the lights from KC are blocking a good view of the northern lights.

Not likely.

I remember seeing auroras a couple of times when I lived in Minnesota, in the Twin Cities area . . . impressive, even if they didn't look like the classic "curtains" you see in most illustrations.
