Political correctness run amok

In England, a sandwich shop run by a Muslim has been ordered to stop cooking bacon because the smell offends Muslim friends of a neighbor.

They have to submit an application to install a vent fan.   ;/

Are they not allowed to install a vent stack?

They were asked to submit a retroactive application to "install" a fan that had been in place for three years, and which replaced an existing fan that had already been there for several years prior.

Ditto for the Michigan case. The Fair Housing Act doesn't allow discrimination if you are renting out the entire house or apartment, but it has never (to my limited knowledge) been applied to roommate situations.

I wonder if I could sue the Democrat party because liberals raise my blood pressure. Not necessarily smelling liberals, or even seeing them, but just knowing they're there contributes to my risk of stroke and other cardiovascular diseases.

Whoever has the authority should tell Mr. Webb-Lee that the restaurant has been there longer than he has, and that he must move.
