OK, I just have to know. What is so bad about Brad Pitt? I mean, other than consorting with A-Jo, which probably indicates some serious issues, why would anyone dislike him as an actor?

It's just plain fun to hate Brad Pitt! =D Actually, I have liked his acting an a few movies such as "A river Runs Through It, 12 Monkeys, Cool World".
Personally, I do not understand how a bunch of people demanding a bigger govt can call themselves anarchist.

I'll trade you two Brad Pitt's to hate for one Sean Penn. I can't stand to look at Sean Penn.

Truth be told, I was never a big fan of John Wayne. Don't know why. This movie looks interesting, though.

Out of those three, I have only seen 12 Monkeys. That and Fight Club are why I like Pitt. He's very convincing as a mad man. Plus the Ocean's movies, etc. He's under-rated.

Pitt is also very funny in Burn After Reading, and Damon has an ever better lovable dumb guy role in The Informant. I trust you've all seen The Informant? Hilarious film.

You don't mess with a classic.

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

You mean people are going to force me to read True Grit again, then watch both movies and see which one is better.

The John Wayne version was not terribly original; it was based on a novel.

They could at least find new novels to make movies out of.  MHI and MHV, for instance, would make kick ass movies.

I can't believe none of you listed Snatch. For shame!
