Lulz: Bite my @$$, Michael Steele!

What can APS Cheddarhead members tell us about Priebus?

Anyone that kicks Steele off stage is A-OK in my book. =D

Awesome!

He did a damn fine job here in WI, considering our nominal reputation as a blue/purple state.

He has good grassroots/Tea Party type cred.

Defintely NOT a RINO type.
I promise not to duck.

What I heard is that Steele was a politician in a "behind-the-scenes" type of job while Priebus is a "behind-the-scenes" type of guy and therefor will be better suited for the job.
The party is 20 million in debt -- they need to get their act together and maybe this guy can do it.

I hope .....

I have only heard great things about him via Vicki McKenna (one of our resident conservative talk radio personalities).
Other than that I can't tell you much, but he was chairman of the republican party of Wisconsin, and we *did* manage to turn from a blue to a red state (pretty handily) and unseated Russ Feingold, so he must be doing something right. (pun not intended, but it works)
I think he should be able to do wonders for the RNC.
Certainly couldn't do any worse.

The only thing that would have made Steele's ouster sweeter would have been if he'd lost to Palin....not supporting Palin here, but it would be a great ironic slap in the face....  =D
Impressed yet befogged, they grasped at his vivid leading phrases, seeing only their surface meaning, and missing the deeper current of his thought.

Funny thing, the WI GOP was in the red when he took the reins too.  =)
