Go, Montana!
« on: January 14, 2011, 10:00:52 AM »

Yeah, it's WND.

But here's the bill proposal from the Montana Senate web site:

http://data.opi.mt.gov/bills/2011/BillHtml/SB0114.htm

Results?
-Feds must get permission of county Sheriff to do anything in Montana.
-County Sheriff is the highest law enforcement authority in his territory
-Individual fed agents will be held accountable for unapproved searches/seizures/shootings and they will be prosecuted as larceny/kidnapping/murder.

Epic.  Awesome.

Been a theory in some alternative thinking circles for decades.  Montana just dragged it out into the open.

Next up for consideration is the time honored American tradition of nullification (which has moved along much further than people realize).

I'm ready to go straight to secession  ;)

I remember this from years ago. Possibly as far back as 2006 when I was staying in MT. The only way the feds are allowed to come into MT is if the local county sherriff escorts them.

So am I. Perhaps we can forge a mutual alliance where we have common interests.

Well if Texas would just get around to seceding, taking all of it's relatively reasonable representation out of the rest of the former union, all the landlocked red states would join in, falling like dominoes from TX straight up to MT, making an alleyway of reason flanked by coasts of degeneration.

I can't decide if Austin is any better than DC.

Bah. I was robbed in Chicago, just outside the Sears tower, in uniform, with a liberty buddy. In Denver here I can at least exercise my CCW.

Then we could invade British Columbia - forcibly deport the hippies and metros to Seattle - and have our alleyway anchored by Alaska at the north end.

If you could arrange for further transport a bit further south to Portland, that would be great.
