Eh...Cop or no Cop, I'm inclined to give a guy a pass for screaming some version of "Get out of my house [wife?] before I kill you!" in that situation. As long as there's no follow up stalking or threatening when he calms down there should be a little slack cut for emotional, verbal outbursts in a situation like that.
Yes, threatening someone with a gun is usually illegal, but context still matters.
This.
Consider this: in his job as law enforcement, he confronts - all the time - people who do horrible things, things that are far worse than having sex with someone's wife. If this angers him this much, what is he going to do when he meets a robbery suspect? A rape suspect?
Your context-o-meter needs recalibrating. It was not just <randomcrime> against <randomvictim>, it was his
wife getting banged in
his own house. The only thing that could have made it worse would have for the 14YO to brag about being a scratch golfer while drinking his (cop's) whiskey.
"Nobody bangs my wife, drinks my whiskey, and then brags about being a scratch golfer! Go get your sticks!"
kid didn't get hurt? thats remarkable restraint
Yup. I'd be less likely to threat and more likely to get physical. I can sling a whole lotta BS & verbiage, but when I decide to do something, no more words are necessary. Naked, on the street, with my boot print on his *expletive deleted*ss.
Yikes! I had to do a double take on that one. Thought you said 'Greek Furries' ![shocked :O](http://www.armedpolitesociety.com/Smileys/default/shocked.gif)
I hear they can even riot. Here are some anarchist furries rioting or something:
http://www.csmonitor.com/World/2008/1208/p06s02-wogn.htmlI turned down the (almost open) advances of a teacher at about age 16.
Same here, at age 17 or 18.
Yes it is. Strangely enough, it turns out that boys are not girls.
What sort of crazy talk is that?
