Dirt bikes at indoor go-kart tracks.
« on: February 09, 2011, 02:47:30 PM »
Anyone ever done this?

I went to a place called Allsports for their monthly mini-moto day. Basically, you go pay 45 bucks for four hours, broken into 10 minute sessions. Get to ride a dirt bike around their go kart course.

Have to bring a bike, though. No loaners. But I have several friends that go that accommodated me. Seems like a great way to improve riding skills and satisfy the riding urge through the winter. Tons of fun, and exhausting too

Here's a vid from the front of the bike I was borrowing...

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Lucky. All the indoor tracks around here except for one, blow chunks. And the one that's a fast fun track won't let us race minis  :'(.
So my bike waits for spring in the basement getting more badass by the day. If I can't get it out of the basement soon and start riding it... gonna run out of parts to upgrade

We do have the Northwoods GP in Wisconsin. It's mostly kids on 'tards, and looks like a lot of fun if I were younger and lighter.

A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.
Is defenestration possible through the overton window?

I might not last very long or be very effective but I'll be a real pain in the ass for a minute!

I may be alone in this, but I think that they need to merge the sport with paintball... I'd find that rather interesting to watch.
