I told my wife we should buy 1911's on March 29. She agreed. I love that woman. Of course she also went along with naming our son John Moses so I shouldn't be surprised I guess...

It was actually a compromise. She really wanted to name him after me (John) but I'd only go for it if she agreed to make the middle name Moses. Considering we're devout Christians, naming our firstborn after a Mormon was a fairly serious profession of admiration for the man's works.

I've been out of touch with 1911s for awhile - are any manufacturers (or all of them) making/marketing a centennial model?
