Hippy Alert:

Ghost Fleet
More than 70 retired military ships are anchored northeast of San Francisco in Suisun Bay. Most of them have been there for decades and are leaching toxic substances into the water. While a few have historic value, the rest are in line for scrapping - a process that environmentalists hope to speed up with a new lawsuit.

Screw surface ships!  I want me a submarine!!!!

Sneak up on them while they're in the middle of a raid and put a torpedo up their stern.

Torpedoes are expensive.....but I like the sub idea.....I wonder if there's a way to waterproof a Phalanx....
Impressed yet befogged, they grasped at his vivid leading phrases, seeing only their surface meaning, and missing the deeper current of his thought.

There's a mothball fleet in Washington (state), too. They have a bunch of neat old "Jeep" carriers up there that might be cool for pirate pursuit. Especially if a certain individual could get us a professional/courtesy discount on a few helichopters. Of course, they also have four "real" carriers, but I doubt we can afford one of them.

My home town, I drive past the line of carriers a couple times a week. Impressive, to say the least. The highway runs only a couple hundred yards away from the Kittyhawk and Constellation. We used to have the Missouri there too, until it was moved to Hawaii. I think there are some old subs waiting to be turned into razor blades, maybe we could work out a group buy for a couple three of those. =D

Subs?  Kinda hard to work on my open sea marksmanship skills, and my tan, in a sub.  We must have a surface ship, preferrebly with a helicopter pad.  The chopper is to carry the bounty saved valuables of the soon to be sea-wenches poor, unfortunate young women we rescue.

^^^ Either the helicopter can winch down the bounty and wenches, or we can use a Zodiac on the sub.  I am now trying to say 'winch down the wenches' three times fast.
