an organization has been started by a group of atheists.  basically, it is rapture insurance for pets.  but they really missed the boat on this as they are only charging $135 per animal!  a friend of mine works for a large rescue shelter and they will get donations in the thousands for the lifetime care of an animal (and many of those are for strays much less a loved pet from a family).

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Yawn. This stuff is old news. I'm pretty sure we've had a thread on this a while back, before the hoopla.

Maybe I'll throw everybody for a loop at church, tomorrow, by just not showing up.

If my dogs can't go then I don't want to be raptured.

Probably birds a plenty to hunt in Heaven but it wouldn't be any fun without a good bird dog.

That's my bet.  Fourlegs more righteous than twolegs.  The problems begin when you stand on two legs.  The next step is hands, then opposable thumbs, then tools, then all manner of mischief.   =D
