Anyone else running IE 9 noticed a problem with cursor placement in their reply window?

The problem, as it's occuring for me, is the blinking cursor simply disappears sometimes.  You can type and everything shows up okay, but no cursor.  Try to solve it by clicking with your mouse on where you want the cursor and nothing happens, at least in terms of seeing the cursor.  The activity point for keyboard inputs changes to where you clicked but the cursor is still maddeningly absent.

I haven't pegged it to one particular set of circumstances, but it seems more prevalent if I enter enough text in a reply window for auto-scrolling to begin.

Sorry, this would be my 2nd IE 9 issue for the day.  In a conference call this morning I overhead a couple of their tech lamenting IE 9 breaking stuff that worked fine internally with IE 8.  In their case they've got no choice but to keep patching systems to work with the new browser.

Why anybody uses it at home as their main browser confounds me.  Especially when it doesn't act right. *shrug*

Other than the cursor placement bug it's been fine.

I used to have that with Firefox, rather frequently, but it's been a while.

I still have that idiotic jumpy scrolling glitch.

IE9......Oh yeah, MS is again doing their beta resting by releasing to the public.

I prefer IE to the new Firefox. The new Firefox appear to have adopted a "ribbon-like" interface.

I have both on my PC and am using IE right now.

Firefox also i turning my punctuation marks into accented "E"s.

Actually, the new Firefox is configurable for that. Just right-click on a blank spot on the toolbar, and a drop-down menu appears. Check "Menu bar" at the top, and it starts to look more like Firefox 3.

The one plus with IE8 over Firefox is that I can choose the folder location when downloading files.

I have not figured out how to do this with Firefox.
