Family cycles from Alaska to Argentina after contacting Guinness World Records to make sure they had all their ducks in a row for their boys to get the world record as being the youngest to do it. During the trip, Guinness drops the category and refuses to grandfather their record.

thankfully they did not do it only for the record as they will still have the experience, but still a big let-down i am sure.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the flack Guinness got when that teenage girl tried to be the youngest to sail solo around the world.
