It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

I got banned from a site that was like the 4chan of the fishing world.  Pretty much an anything goes deal....until I made a joke about Christ.  Then, the same site owner who had literally just posted a picture of a young woman stuffing an object somewhere personal went on a rant about insulting his "savior".  I called him a hypocrite.  Permaban. >:D

Backstory: owner (orange text) complains ALL the time about joke posts, trolling, etc.

For example, he would HATE the constant detcord jokes here.


Anyways, I made a serious PTSD related post on my facebook, and he made fun of it.

I was mad at the hypocrisy.

Then he deleted a post of mine on his board, because it was off topic

Probably the latter. Maybe some of the former. Although he'd probably unban me if it was the former.
