Battlefield 3 in Open Beta

Across all platforms.  Its their big advert push for the Oct 25 release. 

I've been playing on Xbox Live as Ned Hamford.   Till I hit a bug, xbox says I cannot connect to the EA server and thereby stopped all play...

But hey, free game for awhile.  Just try not to pay too much attention to the names of the other players...

Doing it on PC. Do you fall through the ground in XBox too?
Also - from defense side, set up 2-3 mgs in right tunnel. Nothing will ever get through.

I was only able to play for about an hour.  By game two was breaking more than even on my kill:death ratio.  No major buggyness beyond some highly annoying lag.  Shooting at where someone is and missing... I can pretend its ninja skills.  Or maybe the Matrix.

Played for a few rounds tonight, it is not bad.  I didn't run into any glitches myself, although I saw others falling through the floor.  I have been looking forward to this one, I played the crap out of BF2.  I can't wait to see the aircraft in BF3.

Worked for me today!  Daddy likey!  Some glitching, normal for a Beta.  Can't wait for the release.  To hell with Black Ops!

Haven't tried the Beta, yet. I saw the Alpha on PC, it looked pretty good.
