Vote a Dem out of office, get sued for "loss of livelihood"

Yep, it's true.

Now, even your PAC/list/forum/group can get sued if you successfully boot a no-good policritter from Congress.

Paging Ms. Wolfe... [ar15]

Naturally, the defensive reaction to something like this is to re-incorporate a new PAC/group/whatever every year under a new corporate charter, eliminating all officers each year and aiming for a zero-sum balance on the books each year.

Hard to sue a non-existent corporation when a new one with the same name but "2012" instead of "2011" and different corporate officers has taken over.  Or the corporation simply dissolved after the November election cycle. >:D

I like the part where the judge is an interested party in the case and has not recused himself.

Yes, the fact that this didn't get thrown out immediately says a lot about that judge.

Driehaus pissed off the voters of his district.  He got himself booted, nobody else did it for him.  I reside in the district that he represented.  His vote for Obamacare did not sit well for the majority of his district, who are mainly Rs.  I do remember seeing a billboard by the by the Susan B. Anthony list, but that did not influence my vote.  I voted against him because he flip-flopped and voted for Obamacare after being heavily courted by POTUS.  IIRC he is now over in Africa on a Peace Corps mission.

I voted against him

Another defendant for the case!

Why does this remind me of post-election selection trauma?
