Disable Microsoft Essentials anti virus?

Hi there,
I need to disable the above because a driver I am trying to install want me to. How do I do that? I can't find a disable button anywhere.

Going on memory:
Right click, click "open". Click the setting tab. You can disable on access scanning in there. Don't forget to turn in back on.

open MS Security essentials from the task bar or from your programs
click settings tab
unclick realtime protection, should be on top of the list
