Don't Drive Under the Influence of Intoxicants

At fault driver is SWMBO's step-brother.  We don't know him real well as we've only met him a few times.  His mom married my FIL about 10 years ago.

To add to the problem, he's got a 5 year old daughter.  The girl's mom is a piece of work, and because of that he had full custody.  The kid is now with the bio-mom, and the Good Lord only knows how much more messed up she'll become as a result.

Small chance (~10% if I had to put a probablity on it) that we'll eventually wind up taking care of that kid.  I hope it doesn't come to that.  But they're family, if only technically.
