I caught part of one episode, and they did a little blurb about one of the young girls from down South. She said she missed her 4-wheeler and her rifle. :laugh:

Wiki says he's from Georgia. "The libs" are just going to take it as another example of Bible Belt rednecks being all weird and backward and trigger-happy.

Still cool to see guns acknowledged as a normal part of life for law-abiding Americans.  =)

No link, Terry.  I happened to be watching the portion of the show that featured Phillips.  I like the way he sings and his attitude.

Nope.  Don't hate open carry.  I just believe that discretion is the better part of valor at certain times and places.  On the other hand, Phillips' dad picked a really good time to open carry, notwithstanding the unrighteous indignation of those who fear and fulminate about inanimate objects, and who are firm and open in their stereotypical hypocricy.

I wonder if we'll hear any anti feedback on any of the networks inter alia.
