Power train/engine? And what is synch? I'm a little out of date on all the new gee gaws they add the newest of the three clunkers I rotate through is 20 years old.
Sync is Ford/microsoft's nifty little handsfree system. Through bluetooth, i can play music from my iphone 4s, make/receive calls handsfree, have Siri read my text messages to me, have Siri send text messages, etc etc. It's quite cool.
Powerplant: I got the 4.6, and I really was nervous about that decision. In my price range, the only 5.4s were much higher mileage.
I think i made the right call. I only tow a light utility trailer with a motorcycle in it (total weight less than 2k lbs), and this truck has 20k miles on the clock. I can sacrifice a small amount of horsepower for the low price and miles.
