I've been seeing articles posted on the net about this, I'm not posting any links because they all seem to be huffpo and infowars related and I hate both of those sites.

Apparently, he claimed - on stage during a concert - that Obama was behind the recent mass shootings here, a Reichstag fire type of thing I guess, in order to disarm Americans.

The same people who claim GW planned 9-11-01 are calling him an idiot.

I don't know much about megadeth except for they do a great version of Paranoid , a great B Sabbath tune.

Sounds like he is a resident of alexjonestown, too bad, we need smart gun owners-not jack wagons like prisonplanet inhabitants.

Yes, there were inumerable conspiracies of people claiming Bush was responsible for one thing or another.  I knew at least one otherwise smart guy from Lousisiana who told me that Bush deliberately set up FEMA to help Mississippi first and leave Louisiana hanging.

That said, what makes stuff like this so believable to me is how many times I have seen liberals/leftist with an "ends justify the means" viewpoint where they can justify anything if it furthers their goals.

This kind of crap gets thrown around on every scale and from both sides of the fence.  I spend 5 days a week sitting next to a guy who will explain in minute detail that the reason GM closed their Spring Hill TN plant early and waited until pretty much every other plant was back online before reopening it is because President Obama ordered "Government Motors" to punish a red state that voted against him.

Considering that the Govt still owns stock in GM and hand picked the CEO, that has more legs to stand on than the Katrina conspiracy.  I heard the same thing that when GM shut down a bunch of dealerships, the ones left standing were typically not the ones contributing to Replublicans.

My sister and her husband owned three dealerships, and Government Motors shut down two of them.  It nearly wiped them out, as they still owed money on the two that they had bought in an attempt to expand and make them successful as the original one that my dad founded in the 1960s.

We haven't talked much politics, but they seem pretty "conservative" overall to me.
