Archer Season 4 and Amazon?

Does anyone know what the deal is with Amazon offering Season 4 of Archer on Instant View? I generally just buy each season in advance, but even though Season 4 started yesterday, it's nowhere to be found on Amazon. Justified was up for purchase like a week before the first episode of this season.

Dunno, but I am genuinely interested in your experience in per-episode purchases on Amazon.  What do you use to view the media?  Do you download it, or does it stream from Amazon?  Can you view it on more than one device as long as you log in with your account?  Can you save an archival copy in case Amazon goes out of business?


I'm currently ripping all my DVD's to my Plex media server, and sticking the disks up in the attic in boxes.

If I can just buy them in a streamable file I can archive myself, I'd rather do that.

Most of my Amazon (and Netflix, etc.) viewing is via a Roku player to my Samsung TV. Just got the new one (Roku XS) for Christmas and it's much nicer than my old one (original version). I just stream through the Roku for TV watching. For whatever reason, I find Amazon streaming to be superior to Netflix streaming.

You can download and save your Amazon purchases, but I have never done it with anything other than my Kindle as I only download so I can watch stuff without an Internet connection when I travel. You can view Amazon purchases on multiple devices. You do have to register them with Amazon. I forget how many you can register, but it's a bunch.

I have no idea regarding downloading to computers or other devices as I've never tried it.

I have archer on DVR I hope and now I'm itching to get the hell home to watch it.
