Sean Penn and Kid Rock
« on: October 12, 2012, 12:33:59 PM »
http://youtu.be/oSQJ2ULuhb8

Is the motivation for this video:

1. Hunky-dory let's all get along yay America
2. Hollywood = Democrats, and Democrats suspect they're going to lose, so they are trying to couch future political activity in the "why can't we just get along?" vernacular
3. Left and Right regular old folks just wanting to be done with wars, and be left alone to live their lives

What says APS?
"But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist."

Their effort to behave themselves won't last long.  We can count on that.  They are who they are.

i thought kids rock's quote the other day was priceless
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

I am a good American.  I went to YouTube and decided not to waste eleven minutes of my life listening to those two wrecks blah blah blah.

I'm going to say it's #2, the Left always gets REAL LOUD with cries for "bipartisanship" when they've lost, or are on the brink of losing.

And I think it was sold/presented to Kid Rock as being a mix of #1 & #3 to secure his participation.

That's my take on it.
I promise not to duck.

I just don't know enough about kid rock to have an opinion on him, Sean Penn on the other hand, well lets just say - to be polite and all-  that ever since he went and visited Saddam I have never paid to see any of his work, and if its on TV I do not watch it.
Politicians and bureaucrats are considered productive if they swarm the populace like a plague of locust, devouring all substance in their path and leaving a swath of destruction like a firestorm. The technical term is "bipartisanship".

I think Kid Rock went the Gary Sinise route and has been active in entertaining the troops and advocating support for vets.
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

As I recall, he also donated a bunch of cash to the families of the Cole victims...
