The Spirit of Christmas
« on: December 05, 2012, 08:38:32 PM »
Is anyone else old enough to remember this?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WM1UWUapOuo

It used to be broadcast every year when I was a kid, sponsored by AT&T. It brings back wonderful memories of simpler times. I doubt that kids today would even bother to watch something as simple as marionettes acting out the nativity.

Sorry, when I hear "spirit of Christmas", I think of South Park.

NSFW, and is likely to offend.

Thanks Hawkmoon. That also led to some classic Christmas cartoons that brought back a lot of childhood memories. :)

I liked how the camera lingered on the drinking donkey and his wiggly ears.

I don't remember that at all . . . but in the opening title shot of the snowy village, I was half-expecting Santa Clause to come out riding a Norelco razor! (I think I saw those commercials too many times as a kid . . . )
