I needed a mod to change my signature because the concept of "family friendly" eludes me.
Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?

I still don't see how Armslist is liable at all.  Are they supposed to watchdog the sales?  It was the seller who illegally sold the gun and apparent did it knowingly.

Damn, I've gotten way more responses to my attempt to trade my AK off Armslist than any of the other places I have it listed. Hate to see them go away.

The Armslist site makes you click an agreement that you will abide by all laws, and call ATF for clarification of any uncertainties, before it lets you view the site.  Not that someone could not lie, obviously.

Will Bloomburg eventually go after Craigslist sellers of autos that are later driven by drunks who killer folks?  How about washers and dryers that overheat and burn down homes?

Jerk who apparently knew the sale was illegal went ahead and took a few extra bucks and completed it.  He admitted it and is going to jail.  I blame Obama and his reckless economic policies, and say the family ought to sue him as well.  Heck, he does nmmot need deep pockets - he can just imagine he has the money and it magically is there on the books.

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.

And the trial is in Illinois.  Oh, joy.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.
