Close the Police Loophole

Quote
What is the police loophole?
There are some states, counties, cities, and municipalities in our great nation that fail to allow their citizens to fully exercise their right to keep and bear arms with restrictions such as magazine capacity or types of firearms. However, these government entities do not place these restrictions upon their own employees, such as police officers.

What is this list?
This is a list of companies that have taken the step to publicly announce that they will not sell items to states, counties, cities, and municipalities that restrict their citizens rights to own them; therefore closing the "police loophole" themselves. It is important to note that we are against gun control; we are not against any particular government agency or individuals.

Let's get this loophole closed before someone is killed because of the high-capacity ammunition magazine clips these police flaunt in our faces every day.

stay safe.

If Pro-Gunners were as violent as Anti-Gunners say they are, logic would dictate that there would be no Anti-Gunners left.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.

Personally, I wish all gun laws applied to police and the military.

Cops should be unarmed.  If they want to arrest somebody, they can ask some armed citizens to help.  :P

When was the last time a citizen shot a vehicle and its innocent occupants 102 times, as did the LAPD?

When was the last time a group of citizens unloaded 41 rounds on an unarmed, innocent man, as did NYPD?

How about conspiring to rob an armored car in Arkansas?    http://arkansasmatters.com/fulltext/?nxd_id=381076

You mean that I am not the only one to be bothered by people who seriously suggest that the police need be able to out-gun the citizenry? [insert appropriate smilie here]

When people talk about regular citizens not needing 30 round magazines and AR15's, we need to ask them why the police need them. The response from anti's will be something along the lines of "they need them because they have to face heavily armed criminals".

At that point, we say, "why? Are heavily armed criminals seeking out the police to shoot at them?" When the anti replies, we must lead him/her to say that the police are after the criminals because they did something to law abiding citizens. We can then say, "why can't citizens have the same rifles and magazines to use against the criminals that the police do? The citizens are the ones facing the heavily armed criminals first."

Shall we take guns away from police who didn't commit the crime then?
Then why do we complain when the politicians try to take our guns away when some civie nutcake shoots up some place?
Aren't we indulging a hypocrisy here.....maybe a little?

Irony and sarcasm - maybe you've heard of those?   =|

I'll acknowledge your point....when you show stats on how many non-LEO's participate in no-knock raids....

You mean home invasions? >:D

Look, I'm not trying to cause a snitfit about police tactics here.  I know there's bad apples out there, and yes some police tactics have become heavy-handed.
But seriously, no one is going to disarm the police.

I'd like to have a word with both Irony and Sarcasm.  But they've left the building and they took their tiddly wink games with them.  I have a bad feeling they might have been raided by the BATF ...........
