cell phone is a wondrous thing
« on: May 09, 2013, 05:05:21 PM »
went on a field trip with a bunch of kindergarteners and first graders.  kids are great.  adults?  not so much.
one of the school staffers decided to not allow kids to use bathroom on bus. for reasons clear only to her. now bear in mind we spent extra to get buses with bathrooms for a reason.
called principle  got stalled  "he'd look into it when we got back"  he snorted when i said that was unacceptable and hung up.
i called superintendent and he direct dialed the staffer and set her straight.  principle super and i meet in the morning and after that super principle and staffer and i meet.  should be fun.
damn i like the new superintendent.
hes got common sense and a sense of humour

I did not think that was allowed in a super.

the last thing i told him before he called staffer was that in 30 seconds i was escorting the lil girl to the bathroom and if the lady said boo i was gonna ignore her. if she tried to actually stop us i was gonna forget that she was female and treat her accordingly.  i was standing close enough to her when he called her to be able to hear him say "shut up and sit down outa their way" as i got in her face.

i am truly glad my daughter didn't have to witness something uglier than what happened.

it turned into 2 plus hours on bus and the kids were encouraged to eat lunch on ride   including drinks.   the closest i got for a reason was she was sitting near restroom and didn't want a constant stream of kids using it.  i think she needs a career change.

hes smart/sneaky too!
was a lot of fun.
he let her shoot her mouth off make denials and accusations.  then he dropped the hammer.
i had taped our encounter.  and the super contacted the bus driver for confirmation.
i can't remember last time i heard. i'm sorry so many times. ironically not once from the staffer  former staffer.
i was pleasantly surprised to hear that the teacher she worked with supported me and wanted her gone too.

they all thought i was mad because it was my daughter.  it wasn't.  and it shouldn't matter.  well except that if it had been my kid i mighta been less polite.  it was hard being nice but it was important in a bus full of kids.

So she's been fired?

I take it she's not a teacher.

yea. the lies sealed her fate. otherwise she'd still have job.recording took it out of he said she said. she made me laugh. tried to stick to her story even after we played tape."i have a witness!"
witness was smarter. heard there was a recording and left.

I may have said this before but I'm glad you're in our court...
