So, Defcon this year will be at the Rio. Since I have an armed escort this year with a vehicle and the prices are insane at the Rio, we're staying offsite. I'm leaning towards a suite at Aria. 5 star, haven't stayed there before, and close to the Rio. But anyone have any other thoughts? At least one hawt chick (likely two or three) and at least one fed will be crashing out there. Plan is to geek out during day, and drink all night.

Y'all had some awesome ideas for DC, so I bow to the collective knowledge of APS.

Kinda trying to balance "center of Strip", "close to Rio", "economical", "nice" and "roomy". Hard because there are so many options.

I've stayed at two hotels in Vegas. Only one is on your list, so I'm voting for the Bellagio. Service is excellent, the room was amazing but, honestly, anything you could want (from your list) is available at or near any of those hotel/casinos.

I've stayed at Caesar's, Aria, and Venetian.  I'd go back to the Aria.

If you simply want to be pampered and avoid the riff-raff, then the Bellagio.   If you're looking for simply a place to put your head in a pillow, then anywhere will do.

I took the time to wear dress pants, dress shirt and a sport coat (with and without a tie).  I was treated much better by the employees at every place we went simply because I didn't look like the rest of the riff-raff in shorts, flip-flops and a Harley T-shirt.
