  • I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

Politicians and bureaucrats are considered productive if they swarm the populace like a plague of locust, devouring all substance in their path and leaving a swath of destruction like a firestorm. The technical term is "bipartisanship".

Also a guitarist who influenced Clapton. A special talent gone. =(

I saw Clapton and Cale live together a few years ago. To be honest, it was not a great performance.
What we have here is failure to communicate.

Only got turned on to Cale a couple years ago. At a car show in Ashville, NC band ws playing a CD while they were setting up. Asked who it was: "Dunno, judging by the last song I'd say J.J. Cale. Ask him." Points to rent-a-soundman. "Yeah, man, that's J.J. Cale. Made the disc, kinda 'Best of' disc. Stick around for the show and I'll give you the disc."
'Bout wore that sucker out; gonna have to buy some, I guess. Bought the "Sauce Boss's" disc that night.

Especially like "13 days", dunno if that's actually the title.
