Just skimmed the article. How is the term resident more inclusive than citizen? why should they even care to include people that are not citizens of the city? Also, can homeless people even be residents without a home to reside in if the case is that they want to use a more inclusive term? I really wouldn't be offended by either term to begin with but if i had to choose, i think if my government started referring to me as simply a resident rather than a citizen, i would find that much more offensive.
And damn it, the bags are brown! I might as well start complaining when people think of me as being asian. Strip us all of our titles and give us numbers instead of names. They all have to be the same number too. We can't have people feeling they got the short end of the stick just because their neighbor has a bigger number. Kill the parents after their child is born to make the orphans feel better about their situation.
I need to run to costco. Need more tin foil for my three piece suit to match my helmet.
