How do they treat a case like this?  Is the Store owner criminally or civily liable for the deaths?  If a pit bull got out, I would think that would be the case.

The article talked about Florida:  I sort of wonder why Florida doesn't outlaw pet ownership of pythons and constrictors and put a bounty on anything found over a certain size. 

How much are pet pythons or boa's?

Reading is great...........when it happens.  The last 4 or 5 paragraphs were about snake issues in Florida.  I guess they couldn't talk about pythons in the wild up in Canada.

Detcord.  Wrapped around the snake numerous times.

For something less up-close and personal I'd prefer a 10ga, large shot, large magazine.

snakes are just great escape artist, I hope that folks that own large snakes like that know enough to not have kids over in the future.

just saw on the foxnews.com that the kids had their pics on their moms facebook, in the Anaconda cage helping to clean it.

gallons per minute?

my neighbor's 8 yo kid had an 11 foot blond python.  the parents told the boy not to play with it when they weren't around, but he kept doing so.  they made a snake donation to a local game farm before it became a tragedy.

I think a machete would work pretty good also, get enough small pieces, it can't constrict very well.  ;)
