Yes you read that subject line correctly.  The Hoff is featured in an advertising campaign for an iced coffee.  In recent months more than 500 of the Hoff signs have been stolen in several states.  Recently a store clerk was critically injured trying to stop the theft of 2 of the Hoff signs.  The clerk was struck and drug by the getaway SUV.
