After Shave Lotions?

What do all of you (who shave) use after shaving? I like a lotion versus "aftershave" because I want to protect my skin after shaving. I've been using Nivea after shave balm and Nivea after shave I forget what it's called but it's the consistency of sunscreen and actually has an SPF15. They both have alcohol in them though, and I'd like to find something without alcohol.

I tried one of those expensive non-alcohol after shave balms, but besides being outrageously expensive, it smelled too fru-fru for me. I actually want something with little to no scent, or at least something not perfumy. What I'm probably looking for is something like aloe vera but without an aloe vera smell. Don't know if there's anything like that.

Isn't there a Skin Bracer after shave balm?  That would take care of the fru fru smell issue.

Witch Hazel — but occasionally I make small efforts to use up gift bottles of alcohol containing aftershave.  I don't care for the smell.

So your face will know what the fire of Hell feels like. Haven't used after shave in 40+ years.  Put another way, not since the second time I EVER used it.  I'm a slow learner, but I do retain the important lessons.

I do use some sort of lotion on my head after my weekly shave, one is some sort of Adidas lotion the other is Burt's Bees. Face- no, it burns us.

Nothing.  I don't like smelliing like a New Orleans whorehouse.  Also sweet smelling stuff attracts flying insects.
