Is it possible Piers Morgan is not the dumbest man alive?

http://twitchy.com/2013/09/12/pwnd-rights-are-hard-piers-morgan-reminds-everyone-that-hes-the-dumbest-man-alive/

While everybody is having fun taking Piers Morgan apart (isn't there a law against picking on the handicapped?) those same everybodys seem to be missing an important point,

The constitution pretty much deals with what the government may and may not do.

I am all for a fundamental restriction on the government shooting me - and for most of the rest of you I feel pretty much the same way.

Now I'm now sure just how this is going to work out when the cops run up against someone illegally/improperly shooting a firearm, but I guess with all the other armor protection they have they could just dogpile the perp.  They suggested, at one time, that elementary school students do that to an active shooter - if it's good enough for third graders it ought to be good enough for cops (who often act like third graders anyway).

So, as much as poor old Piers thought he was heading one way and everybody laughed at him, it may be that he has, inadvertently for sure, come up with a Good Idea (TM).

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.

All I see on the link is a tweet.  Is there something else the guy said?  I must have missed it.

My first reaction was a resounding NO!  But after second thought, he really does have a lot of competition for the title.  It's possible he's not the dumbest but he's in the top 10.

Coming up this evening, "Piers Morgan Tonight" welcomes Academy Award winning filmmaker Michael Moore for his trademark brand of candid commentary, and human perspective.

The uploader has not made this video available in your country.
Sorry about that.

Sure would have liked to have seen that one!
Personally, I do not understand how a bunch of people demanding a bigger govt can call themselves anarchist.
I meet lots of folks like this, claim to be anarchist but really they're just liberals with pierced genitals. - gunsmith

"Not available in your country."

I thought "country-cide"  ???

But I read the comments, and all is clear.

I didn't know he was so reviled. Makes me wonder if the gun fixation isn't an attempt to gain respect by taking on people that he imagines are more universally despised than himself.

It is great - three and a bit minutes of the finest mockery that concludes with the (true) story of how Morgan's paper rang up Hislop's vicar to ask whether he had any dirt on Hislop.  Twice.
