Bacon Cheddar!

For anyone with a Trader Blows in their area, one of their spotlight cheeses right now is a bacon cheddar. I just came back from there and am eating it right now with some of their fresh bread and a Hefeweizen while I'm waiting for my pollo asado to finish on the grill. Super good cheese (but then it's got bacon so how can it not be?)!

There's a trader joes around the corner, I just can't stand the yuppies.  Took The Monster in there, and got pretty tired of yuppies walking backward into her stroller...  .

They do stock some good beer and wine.  I'll have to send stepdad after the cheese.  He loves the place.

That drives me absolutely batty at mine . They talk about the people of Walmart - they should have a site about the people of Trader Joes. Especially the middle aged Birkenstock wearing women yuppiies. They are the worst offenders at simply not caring about their fellow shoppers. They constantly park their carts and themselves in the middle of the aisles, and even if they see that people want to try and get through, make no effort to move. I usually try to get to mine before 9AM, when I can generally avoid the rude people who don't seem to start showing up until after 10.

Our's isn't as bad as you describe.  I was in there the other day and some lady was checking out ahead of me and her total was $272.  I was like holy moly.

Central Market is worse, but only because the store is bigger.  If the Volvo Ratio is too high in the parking lot, I just come back later.

That Said(tm), the food is usually good.  Thing is...  All of these places have huge prepared food sections.  Maybe nobody else likes to cook, I dunno.  I just think it's sort of sad to walk by all the great produce and meat to get something in a box.

Mine is actually not as bad as the one downtown. Mine gets all the college kids, but unlike the ones that go to my local supermarket, the ones that go to TJ's seem more polite, or at least aware of their surroundings - certainly more so than the yuppies. The downtown one is like a Portlandia episode.

I love me some Central Market tortillas.  I don't see too many hippies, but I do see plenty of yuppies. The worst are the weekend tourists clogging up the aisles to get free samples.
