That, my friends, is why some people still push for gun control – they are actually that ignorant. They also are the ones who want the king to wave his scepter and make all the problems go away.

And they vote. Sometimes repeatedly.

ARRRRGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.

I was at least encouraged by how many responses said full auto or machine gun.

That twitter post has such concentrated ignorance, it likely lowered the IQ of everyone who received it.

I was less encouraged when I realized that they think the ARs for sale "at Walmart" are fully automatic machine guns.

(Actually, I'm annoyed by how many people think an M16 is a machine gun, but that's off-topic.)

Personally, I do not understand how a bunch of people demanding a bigger govt can call themselves anarchist.

Actually, a few of those sound like rather smart butt responces from pro gun folk.

Besides, we all know it's a gun with the sholder thing that goes up. Duh.

I dream of a day when Walmart does sell machine guns.

And technically the M16, M16A1 and M16A3 are machine guns.

In the American legal system, yes. In the real world, no. They aren't built for sustained fire, and have, IICR, about half the max effective range.

Since when has the American legal system and the real world ever been the same thing?

The BATFEIO-EIO would quibble with your definition.

Machine Gun= pull trigger, action cycles more than once.
