That's a pretty strange problem! It is very unlikely Toyota could have foreseen this problem occurring.

I don't really understand why they would even do a recall. Hell, squirrels try to tear up my old Volvo all the time...the spider stuff probably goes unnoticed.

I get all kinds of spiders on my boat at the marina. Evil bastages put webs all over the place. I've even been bitten 4-5 times this year. On the other hand, when the sun hits the strands of web just right it makes for interesting wind tell tales.
